{ When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, a voice was heard in heaven: “Go, pour upon the earth the seven bowls of God’s wrath.” And rains of blood fell from the sky upon humankind. “You are just—He who is and was, the Holy One—for having thus punished; This fool has earned it; it is the blood of the Earth that he has shed.” } 7 S[O] is based on a phonetic ambiguity in French, where [so] refers to sceau (seal), seau (vessel), and sot (fool). The title draws on two apocalyptic episodes from the Book of Revelation—the opening of the seven seals and the pouring of the seven bowls of wrath. This linguistic overlap links divine judgment to human responsibility in the destruction of the Earth. Exhibition: Paréidolie — group exhibition — Basilique de Metz — June to October 2022
