Context

This sculpture celebrates Christianity as a religion of love. A pink crystal heart replaces the traditional Sacred Heart, symbolizing solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community, historically marginalized by religious institutions. The work also references the Pink Triangle, once used in Nazi concentration camps to identify homosexual prisoners and later reclaimed by queer activism as a symbol of pride and resistance. Exhibition: Un dernier verre — group exhibition — Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nancy — June to October 2021
