Context

Inspired by Jeanne Favret-Saada’s anthropological study The Words, the Death, the Sorcery, this work revisits rural practices intended to counter curses affecting crops and livestock. Plants gathered around the Écomusée du Véron are preserved in printing drawers using silica drying. The installation reflects local flora while recalling the belief that certain plants could neutralize misfortune. Exhibition: Group exhibition at the Écomusée du Véron concluding an artistic residency.
